Honors EV charging stations support dynamic load balancing — the charger automatically adjusts its power draw based on what else is running in the building, preventing overloads without requiring electricity upgrade. When connected to the solar PV system, the charger can prioritize solar energy for daily charging, reducing reliance on the grid.

The EM3 Box monitors the total electricity flowing into the house in real time. It always prioritizes home appliances, then allow the remaining capacity to the charger. When household demand goes up, the charger will automatically reduces its power. When demand drops, the charger ramps back up.

EM3 can systematically adjust the EV charging consumption mode, prioritizing the use of solar energy. Three modes are available to match different priorities: Solar Mode — Uses only solar power to charge. Solar + Grid Mode — Uses solar as the primary source, Fast Mode — Charges at maximum available power, combining solar and grid.

Step 1. Remove the back plate from the wallbox — it slides off with screws.
Step 2. Mount the back plate on the wall using the included screws and wall anchors, then clip the wallbox back on. Connect the wires. Done.
The whole process takes about 20 minutes. All mounting hardware is included in the box — screws, anchors, and a drilling template.
