ANS European Business Tour ( Chapter 2)

ANS in Bergamo, Italy.

After concluding our tour in Munich, we embarked on the next leg of our journey in Bergamo, Italy.

We delved into the emerging trend of EV charging connectors, particularly those featuring a shutter mechanism in the pin.

Have you ever encountered a minor yet bothersome issue with EV charging plugs? The corrosion of the plug is often caused by exposure to saltwater or prolonged steam erosion.

But fret not, as ANS EVSE has tackled this problem head-on by enhancing the plug cover's structure. The new design ensures a snug fit over the port, effectively preventing water or steam from reaching the terminals inside the plug when properly closed by users

During our visit, we had the opportunity to tour our client's production line, and we were thoroughly impressed by the level of automation in their operations.

Following our visit to Bergamo, we embarked on another business trip to Pontedera. During our discussions, we delved into potential business opportunities for the future of EV charging. We explored various aspects that our clients are keen to improve upon with their current suppliers and estimated the scope of procurement projects.

ANS in Spain

Then we continue our travel in Spain. Wallbox charger is a famous brand regarding Spain Brand.

Wallbox was founded in Barcelona, Spain by Enric Asunción and Eduard Castañeda in 2015 initially using the name Wall Box Chargers. In 2017, Wallbox came first in South Summit, a European startup competition. Wallbox then came in third place at the Startup World Cup in May 2018. In October 2019, Wallbox created Quasar, the world's first bidirectional charger for the residential segment.

In Alicante, we explored the charming Old Town, with its narrow streets, colorful houses, and historic landmarks such as the Santa Bárbara Castle, offering panoramic views of the city and coastline. We also indulged in the local cuisine, savoring traditional dishes like paella and fresh seafood at quaint cafes and restaurants.

In Valencia, we marveled at the futuristic architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences, a sprawling cultural and entertainment complex designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. We strolled through the vibrant Mercado Central, one of the oldest food markets in Europe, where we sampled regional delicacies and soaked in the lively atmosphere. Additionally, we couldn't miss the chance to visit the beautiful beaches along the Mediterranean coast, where we relaxed under the sun and dipped our toes in the azure waters.

After the trip to Spain we fly to Lisbon, Portugal and then we have a tour on exhibition in Prague. To be continued.
